SERIES 5.3A: creating buy-in for supporting students’ socio-emotional needs

Purpose:  Students need support from their entire community. Many schools and districts understand that there is great need to develop robust and explicit supports for students; however, when some adults do not contribute or follow the agreed upon practices to support students’ needs, the impact of support programs is compromised. This module is intended to assist schools with developing a common understanding for the need to adhere to the socio-emotional program identified by the school so that all students can thrive in their educational setting.
