SCHOOL REVIEWS WITH DISTRICT OVERSIGHT

When the New York State Education Department is not conducting an Integrated Intervention Team (IIT) review, There are several types of reviews that can be conducted within a school district.  When the district is allowing the school to conduct its own review or when a district team is conducting a review without the guidance of an Outside Educational Expert (OEE), it is always a good idea to get as much assistance as possible.  This site is intended to provide guidance and assistance to districts and schools conducting their own reviews so that the school communities fully benefit from the process.

Two Types of school reviews

There are two types of reviews that can be conducted at the school level.  The first type of review is the Conceptual Frame 4 review where schools are focused on Statements of Practice aligned to curriculum and instruction or teaching and learning.  The other type of review is focused on three Tenets, which must include Tenet 3.
