Ways to finance your participation
There are many ways to finance your participation in the 2018 REACH(c) Whole School Reform: Coaching Through Systems That Work Conference. If the suggestions listed below are not viable options for your participation, please contact us for other options.
Title I Funding: Districts' and schools' Title I funding should be partially used to ensure staff members and families receive effective professional development. The expectations for using this funding includes providing professional development to staff via contracting consulting and sending staff to attend conferences off-site.
School Improvement Grants: Districts and schools that receive funding for improvement are expected to ensure the funding is partially used to provide exceptional professional development to all staff members and families. Similar to the expectations for Title I, funding use includes providing professional development to staff via contracting consulting and sending staff to attend conferences off-site.
Tax Levy: All districts and schools receive tax levy funds as a major portion of their overall budgets. These funds have great flexibility and may be used to attend off-site professional development conferences.
Special Grants and Other Funding: Some schools receive special funding and sponsorship to implement programs or develop certain skill sets that lead to improved teacher practices, increased student achievement and effective family supports. All of these goals will be addressed during the three-day conference. Therefore staff of community-based organizations, members of school leadership teams, teachers, coaches, support staff, school leaders, and engaged parents will find this conference informative and useful in their future endeavors.

This conference will be a great place for superintendents to attend and meet with other district leaders who would like to use coaching as the primary tool to build capacity at the district and school levels.
